RE: Jahia on JBoss

Hi Fernando,

 

Jahia 4.1 works perfectly on this Jboss version but you need to delete in
the web.xml file, all the precompiled file declaration.

 

Procedure:

1 - Create a Jahia.war directory in the
“C:\jboss-4.0.2RC1\server\default\deploy” directory of JBOSS

2 – Copy the content of the Jahia directory inside

3 – Change the web.xml file (or use the one attached on this mail ;)

4 – Launch Jboss then yourserver:port/Jahia/ to launch the wizard

 

If you are using Hsql db, you will need to select the 2d Hsql db option as
the default one will not work.

We are intending to run Jahia on JBoss 4.0.2. which uses Tomcat 5.5.

So far we haven't succeeded, it throws loads of errors.

Has somebody made it work? Could you give us some advices?
