User with read-only rights in edit mode?

For our helpdesk we would like to define a user group, which should get 
the rights to view pages, which are being worked on and were not approved 
yet, but the helpdesk users should not be able to edit something. Is there 
a suggested trick to do something like that with Jahia ACL?
