Well I wouldn't call them idiot users, but possibly "poor" users. For 
them I think the best recommendation is to migrate to Firefox. Or for 
Mac OS 9 users there are some 2 year old builds of Mozilla, but I think 
that's still better than IE 5.2. I can't imagine that IE 5.2 users only 
have issues with Jahia, I'm  sure they have trouble with a lot of other 
web sites too.

As for the hanging problem, maybe it's a cache issue ?
