Hi! For the Cas, there is also an existing valve in the following path "org.jahia.params.valves.CasAuthValveImpl". You should use it maybe with the authentification pipeline of Jahia, that you can configure through the file "auth-pipeline.xml" located into jahia/WEB-INF/etc/config. It is just an idea.
