Using JAAS to authenticate to Jahia

Hi, I have a JAAS provider which I made that allows me to authenticate against a corporate server. I modified the jaasportlet, available in the portlet repository, to use it. The portlet works great...except it doesn't log me into Jahia :( Is there a way to configure Jahia so that I can use my JAAS provider instead of authenticating against the Jahia database?
