Joe, I compiled the source and went thru the installation wizard to configure jahia to work with mysql. Now when I restart tomcat, it opens a java window, some kind of a cache monitor. If I close it, tomcat itself gets closed. Now when I try to open http://localhost:8080/jahia, it doesn't open even after waiting for half an hour, although I keep on getting some messages on the console. Why is it behaving like that? It works fine when I install the binary instead.
