can't add links in Jahia5?

I can't seem to add links under the link functionality. I get a Jahia error
and the view html functionality doesn't work.  Anyone get this to work?

Edit Content - Add Box - Select Link - Create New link - Type link title,
link and click OK - ERROR or click Description to add description - ERROR.
