Hello list, So far we have not been able to use e-mail notification on our server, even though it is turned on in the administration interface. I expect the problem to be caused by the fact that the SMTP server on localhost requires authentication (username and password), a feature that Jahia doesn't seem to facilitate at the moment. Does anybody know a good way around this? Is this something that is worked on by somebody? (Even more frustrating: because Jahia invokes Session.getDefaultInstance() without the possibility to set username and password, our application that builds on Jakarta's mailer taglib (also using Session.getDefaultSession() is blocked from sending e-mails with the correct username and password... Seems to me that Session.getDefaultSession() was a bad idea...) Yours, Jurjan-Paul -- ----- ---- --- -- - - - - - - - - J.P. Medema E: [email protected] ----- ---- --- -- - - - - - - - -
