filemanager folders

I can upload and access files just fine with the jahia filemanager.
However, I cannot get it to
display file folders.  The filemanager webapp does this and the codeva
webdav filemanager
also does it.   The reason why I can't just use these alternatives is that
indexing/searching only works for
the Jahia file manager.   No references to this in the documentation or
previous postings so any suggestion
would be appreciated.
