MSSQL is not very UTF8 friendly, you can check this page from the
microsoft Kbase for more info :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/232580/EN-US/ .

Basically as I don't see any of the 5 "options" proposed by MS
to be a real option with Jahia, I'm afraid you will have to go with
another DB if UTF8 is a must-have.

I'm using PostgreSQL 7.4.7.000 and when I create my DB instance I specify
that the encoding is UTF-8 for this DB instance with some option in
command line.

Perhaps is there the same options on MS SQLServer when you create your DB
instance with the wizards.
