Hello Juliette, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on the view side :-) the event did not occurred again since my last notification and could not use the backup of broken situation. The actual only solution to me was to bring back all the site from backup. If it helps, our customer told us that the problem occurred always during an upload file transfer, probably he had a short network interruption or packet loss.
