RE: RSS feed in jahia

I deployed the portlet but only 'view' tab was available but not 'edit'
and 'help'. I will try to deploy the portlet again.

Did you try to deploy 
http://nightly.jahia.org/portlets_JSR168_for_JAHIA_5/open.source.portlet
.repository/rssportlet.war by putting the war file into
tomcat\webapps\jahia\WEB-INF\var\new_webapps directory?
Then you can add the portlet in a box. After that you can switch to the
portlet edit mode and do what you want
