How to get the publication name - Lenya 2

Dear Lenya Devs,

I want to use the name of the publication (as set in
{pub-id}/config/publication.xml) in my page2xhtml.xsl.
Is there a 'simple' way (like an input module?) to read this config-value in the
publication sitemap.xmap to pass it as parameter to the xslt-transformation?

My intention is to use templating and the layout should reflect the publication
name without the need to edit/overwrite something in the file system.
