of course I see your point.

Adding a new publication layout would require an additional 
cross-browser test cycle though, which could delay the release even 
further. Given the choice, I'd prefer to release 2.1 asap and 
update/replace the default publication in the next release. But if 
someone is committing to do the work, I have no objections.
