Deactiving one language version

Hi,

is there a simple way to deactivate one language version of one document? Lenya 
2.0.2 doesn't let me do that, complaining that the document has children.  This 
is certainly true, but what could happen if I remove only one language version?

It looks like I have to edit the sitetree.xml file directly. Or is there another 
way?
