Re: OpenCMS on Tomcat 10?

Hi Atle,

it means, that it is was evaluated, if it is possible to make OpenCms 16 compatible with Tomcat 10. The result is: It needed more time to make it compatible with Tomcat 10 and therefore it was not done in OpenCms 16.
If OpenCms 17 will be compatible with Tomcat has to be answered by the Alkacon people.

Hello.



In the release notes for OpenCMS 16 one can read "A possible update to Tomcat 10 has been evaluated".



What does this mean?



I just installed Tomcat 10, and OpenCMS service/app will not start. Then I downgraded to Tomcat 9 and all works fine.



Linux Kubuntu dist, and Windows 11 Pro.
