Rename a module

Hello,

We are currently trying to rename some modules in OpenCms. At this point, we are changing the name of the module in the opencms-modules.xml and, in that file too, changing all the references related to that module. Then, we are also renaming the folder of the module in the VFS. After all of this, we could continue looking for all to this module references within its files (e.g., resources schemas, formatters) or in the files of other modules, as well as references in the resources and properties of each site.

We need to be extremely careful because the website could stop working with the slightest change, so my question is, is there any way or strategy to change the module names in an efficient way avoiding problems in the references to that module as much as possible?
