I mean groupware in the way that i will share data between many users. They will need rights on the data or printers shared by group for example.

I guess opengroupware can be an addition to your project. The services you decribe are not part of OGo. They COULD work together with OGo and form a balanced server/groupware environment.
 
As you describe your project consists of a file server, a print server, a mail server around a central ldap directory (openldap) for authnetication I wonder what you mean with groupware project??
 
Mind to post a link with more info on you sserver invirontment you are creating?

I'm working on a free groupware project in my company with openldap, samba, qmail on freebsd 5.1
The target is to substitute Microsofts Server 2000. So it's a file server, a print server, a mail server around a central ldap directory (openldap) for authnetication.

Can opengroupware be better for me? faster ? easier? 

any thougts??
