The WebUI is very well alive and kicking, you are spreading FUD, why?

No, that would be complete nonsense. The WebUI is one of the greatest
parts of OGo and a major part of its power.

OGo has a _great_ WebUI. On the other side like all other software it
obviously can't catch the requirements of all, so complementary
additions make a lot of sense.

Plone is quite good at providing very simple but customizable UIs and
it might indeed be an option to write an optional, less powerful but
simpler UI using Plone.
Personally I would love to see Plone integration for embedding OGo
objects into Plone websites (eg for building customer interaction forms
which directly access OGo objects).

Nothing against OGo/Plone integration, this would be really _great_.
But both are complementary products with a VERY different focus, one
can't really replace the other.
