A quick summary of efforts to date:

RedHat...............never returned any calls. Available if anyone is 
interested. Best to start at the CTO level or with technical contacts. 

SuSE....no interest. Dead horse. Best to complete compatible rpm sets that 
install on SLOX, SLE and SuSE Pro. Remote accounts available upon request 
from us to dedicated developers. 

Mandrake........not investigated. This should be a viable target especially in 
the EU with its multitude of language support.

Novell.........working on it. Some limited low level interest but needs a 
thorough work up. Will know in about 3-6 months. OGo integration with Novell 
products is well worth investigating. Remote accounts available upon request 
from us to dedicated developers. 

IBM.........some interest as they are looking for compatible Zseries middle 
ware applications to push big iron. Currently testing with Lotus Notes and 
Domino have proven to be very slooooowwww..:)  (they can provide access to 
hardware) Also somewhat interested in PPC port....:) Again could supply 
hardware if discussion mature. ETA on this is about 2 months.

Sun....clueless. What else can I say. The biggest disappointment of the lot. 
Personal prediction is they will become a supplier for MS in less than 2 
years, starting with supporting custom development for Solaris in its MS 
variant now thats its available under quasi gpl/bsd/lgpl/sunlicense/whatever 
they are doing...no one is really sure at this point..:) 

Compaq &HP....best accessed through Novell indirectly as part of the 
IBM/Novell consortium. 

Apple.....no contacts. Apple is a tough nut to crack as they play by there own 
rules. Excellent company however that deserves much respect. 

All I can say is the worst decision I ever made was not to dump my Corel stock 
upon hire for Apple which was 2.00 at the time. I remember 
thinking...hmmm..they are good, talented people, I should really do a spilt. 
Never got around to it.  Hmm...lesson in life...never procrastinate..:)
