Well, in the same place like before? I don't see how this product 
changes anything in OGo's position which is well established.

The OGo project is not only about "OGo, the application", but also has 
a strong focus to move Groupware protocol standardization forward. The 
OGo project is so popular because instead of "brewing" own stuff to 
lock people in, it managed to bring other projects together.

Open-Xchange? We'll see, so far it didn't even start. As a Novell 
product it probably already died in favor of Novell Groupwise, yes.

So far OX is not released, so we can't take anything. If there is 
something which is missing in OGo, sure, why not.

The only thing which is problematic is that OX is build upon 
proprietary technology (read: Java), which forbids OX derived parts for 
inclusion in free software projects like Debian.
So we need to be careful about that, its not FSF compatible ;-)

See above. It is not yet available and it remains to be seen what it 
actually provides. What can be read on the website and the demo 
contains nothing particulary interesting.
We probably pick up some ideas and we are always open to suggestions 
what people consider missing in OGo, if other products have nice ideas, 
this is even better ;-)

Also note that OX is _not_ the OpenExchange server which was sold by 
SuSE (which was a complete solution, including SuSE Linux Enterprise 
Server etc). Its just the groupware parts. People sometimes forget that 
when comparing the two.

Yes, don't hype ;-) Eg the claim by Netline that OX is "the best 
selling Linux groupware" is FUD and ridiculous for somewhat obvious 
reasons. As far as I can see OX is just another server in the long list 
of the available ones:

I think OX will have problems showing why it is better than say 
eGroupware.

Heck, it doesn't even provide an Outlook storage provider (promised for 
years to SuSE customers ...) which puts it _far_ from being a valid 
Exchange replacement.
Conclusion so far: just another HTML groupware, this time in Java.
