(I still don't understand the point of Asterisk, except maybe for long distance calls, sorry ;-) Mark writes: ---snip--- The user clicks on a contact wthin Outlook, which sends a xAP message to Asterisk. ---snap--- So xAP is the standard protocol for triggering the Asterisk PBX to dial a number? Comparable to CSTA which (at least in Germany) is the protocol which can be used to do that for regular PBX? If so, its probably rather trivial to write a CTI plugin for OGo which implements that protocol: http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/helge/CTI/ Unfortunately the websites on xAP are rather confusing ;-) Is that a binary protocol, does it go over TCP/IP, is it some XML protocol, HTTP, etc? Complex stuff ;-) Greets, Helge -- http://docs.opengroupware.org/Members/helge/ OpenGroupware.org -- OpenGroupware.org Discussion [email protected] http://mail.opengroupware.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
