Andrew Bartlett, of Samba fame, supposedly has a patched PPPd that enables
M$-CHAPv2 authentication to an LDAP DSA, so you should be able to authenticate
via the same authorization repository used by OGo.   I'm going to be hacking
into that very soon, I can e-mail you off list with the results if you (or
anyone else) likes.  Currently I have my own hacked version of PPPd to do the
same but it is hideous.

Yes, this was a PERFECT summation.  Thanks in the extreme, you've provided what
it would probably have taken hours of grousing around to clarify.  Our cellular
provider will be delivering equipment for testing and I'll post how it goes.
