the new unofficial redhat install located here works - except he and I 
didn't do the apache 2.0 configuration

clean install of k12ltsp(redhat 9) selecting postgres to install with 
the os install and then followed those instruction  total time from 
blank drive to usable ogo  1.35 hr

my next step is to do it on e-smith linux - that would be a MS Small 
Business Server Killer for sure.
