Hi there, I think this was raised in the past by Chris, but did anyone _look in detail_ on SugarCRM? http://www.sugarcrm.com/ I suppose it would be quite interesting to have a comparison with OGo, it seems that it is more "specialized" on monetary status and customer aquisition but the functionality seems to be less than that of OGo. In the demo it has the following top-level modules: * home - well, more or less the news app * activities - * contacts - same like OGo person contacts? * accounts - same like OGo company contacts? * leads - no sample data in demo, what is it? * opportunities - an OGo project? * cases - whats that? * dashboard - some graphical reports It doesn't seem to have a real scheduler (though it can create meetings) and a lot of other functionality contained in OGo. Is it just the dashboard which is missing or do I miss the "secret" in the tool? ;-) Maybe someone would even be interested in analyzing each feature and write a small guide on how one would do this or that in OGo? I guess that would be a cool marketing document for OGo. Would it make sense to have a second OGo "skin" called OGo CRM which has different names for the existing functionality (eg "Opportunities" instead of "Projects")? Maybe this is something to consider post OGo 1.0, but an analysis would be a precondition.
