Greets; Perhaps a simple UI concept could be extracted from this ACT!® 2005 Premium for Workgroups. Product reference: http://www.act.com/products/premium/index.cfm Screenshots: http://www.act.com/common/display/actsstourNewCust/ACT2005_01.cfm?adcode=buynow This is far more impressive then sugerCRM or vtiger in terms of UI only. And a base gpl product would have a following. Long term strategy: - migration path complete with pluggin to move data from ACT versions to OGoCRM...:) - outlook plugin exist to cover off MS users - KDE & Evo pluggin in development for 'nix users - Mac clients status unknown - Sun and others...uninteresting..:) There seems to be a convergence here of standard data mining and groupware and OGo already has these features in place. Perhaps in the short term perhaps its as simple as bundling a snappy UI (whatever happened to Gonsman?) to determine interest and run it as a pilot or study for interest. Just an idea. Thanks Isaac for chiming in and suggesting this. /ch -- OpenGroupware.org Discussion [email protected] http://mail.opengroupware.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
