Well, currently its mostly hype (the usual Nat&Miguel produced reality 
distortion field also associated with v0.0.5 Mono products ;-).

Nothing of the interesting stuff is implemented, eg CalDAV or the DHTML 
UI. But it might evolve into a pretty nice web calendar. Though if you 
really need just simple stuff - there are already a LOT of pretty nice 
servers listed on Freshmeat!

I do not think that it can be compared to OGo, OGo is a complete 
collaboration platform with a very different focus (towards some 
hundreds of users which need to have rich functionality).

In fact a lot of their future goals are similiar to stuff already 
implemented in the SOGo UI which we are currently finishing up. A small 
prototype (you need to use a Gecko browser [Moz,Firefox]) is running

Please do not post the link on Slashdot or modify data - internal dev

Obviously they have an excellent designer on the project, which OGo is 
seriously lacking (well, Novell pays ...). Another thing I like is that 
Hula is written in plain C which should make it quite fast, so I do 
believe the claims on the speed.

Something which is quite different to OGo's goal is that we are very 
much focused on integrating with existing services like Cyrus, the 
local MTA, PostgreSQL etc while Hula seems to provide an "all in one" 
package with an own mailer server, database, etc. I think thats the 
worst part of it.
