palm synchronisation

Ich habe bereits heftig gestöbert, wie ich die palm-synchronisation 
hinbekomme (die rpm's ...pilot... und ...palm... habe ich installiert.

Wenn ich die entsprechenden Buttons anklicke, kommt die Information:
[Javascript-Anwendung] Skyrix: kein Geräteeintraggefunden. Btte 
synchronisieren Sie zuerst mit Ihrem PDA.

Da fehlen wohl noch einige Einstellungen - bloß welch und wo finde ich 
dazu was?
