Funktioniert 'telnet localhost 5432'? Wenn nicht, fehlt 'tcpip_socket = true'
in der postgresql.conf, damit PGSql auch auch TCP/IP listened.

Funktioniert 'psql -h localhost ogo ogo'? Wenn hier irgendwas mit
'Fatal: IDENT failed...' oder so kommen sollte, muesste die pg_hba.conf
angepasst werden (das sollte in der FAQ auf der Mailingliste und im
Web aufgefuehrt sein).
