I don't think so. Other than converting the Db from LATIN1 to UTF8 a
trunk install should be able to be laid on top of pretty much any
version.

Yes. If you know about Debian packages please sign up for an account
[free] on the SuSE build service and lets get it building packages. It
is already building RPM packages for libFoundation and SOPE, but I
don't know anything about Debian packaging. I haven't had time to get
it to build OGo packages yet but I doubt it is that big a deal.

The support Debian Etch as well as a variety of the Ubuntu's.
