Sure, provided your hosted e-mail solution provides real IMAP support.

If all clients use IMAP there is no isue.

No, OGo uses IMAP & SMTP as provided by the site.

Recent VersaMail supports IMAP4 although Snapperfish is a much better
implementation.

OGo uses IMAP. If you download messages via POP (and delete them from
the origin mailbox), then OGo won't see them.
