retrieving vcards from ogo via zogi?

Hi,

as I'm still having the problem that davfs2 shows me empty folders when I 
take a look at the public/Contacts or public/Enterprises.
I had the ogo webdav mounted on a server, and used rsync once at night, to 
sync the vcards to a faster filesystem for public usage.

Because this doesn't work anymore, I'm looking for an alternative way to 
retrieve the vcards out of ogo, and I thought that maybe zogi can help me. 
I took a look into the examples of zogi.
As far as I can see, the examples do not provide one on how to save a 
contact as a vcard, but that may also be too much for the examples there. 
As the examples are all in python, I fond this python package interesting:

Before I go on, I'd like to ask, whether someone may already have a pyhton 
or other script to retrieve the contact information from ogo via zogi, and 
saves them as vcards somewhere?

Or are there any other ways to achieve the goal in an automated way?
