Yes, I found the discussion in the archive but did not see how the
problem was solved there. And while I have some java experience  I have
little to do with (Obj-)c debugging... :-(

I just noticed that inside the sope package from 
http://download.opengroupware.org/nightly/sources/trunk/sogo-trunk-latest.tar.gz
there also is a slightly older version of libFoundation (1.1.3?). Is
this intended?

Wow, that would be really nice. May be I will come back to this offer if
the issue can't be fixed. Do you have a vm at hand or would you have to
create it?

I have a working installation of ogo-1.1.7 here running on Debian Etch.
I would like to set up a new server with ubuntu and kvm and have ogo
running in its own vm. At this opportunity I would update to a newer
version to be able to access ogo via zOGI.
