ID: skyrix://renner.flex/renner/12345 ID: 12345 Number: OGo12345 In all places of the XML-RPC API you can use just "12345" instead of the full URL. Its a completely valid (local) ID. The ID corresponds to the primary key of the object in question (which is just the 12345). The "Number" is a user-settable field, intended for numbers in for example a billing system (a customer number). When you create a new record and do not specify a number, OGo will automatically create one based on the ID.
