changing the login of a user with XML-RPC/zogi

I just want to create a sync-script to trigger additions, deletions or
changes to OGo-Users from LDAP.
I know, that there is the LDAP-Binding, but since new users are only
created if, that user logs into OGo, I have to make sure that accounts
are made available within a defined interval.

For creating and deleting users everything is fine.

But I have not find any (working) solution for changing the login.
As far as I found out zogi is not able to do that and for XML-RPC there
is this bug: http://bugzilla.opengroupware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1703

So any more hints?
