new twingle dev server

greetings 

there is a new twingle dev server available.

it is running apache 1.x and apache 2.x.

apache 1 is in /usr/local/apache
and is controlled via /etc/rc.d/init.d/apache

apache 2 is in /usr/local/httpd
and is controlled via /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd

the hostname is quodlibet.oscom.org

there is full copy of the oscom production db
within mysql.

please advise as to what more need be done.

how should we handle the authentication?  digest again?
many different users that map to people, users that map
to privileges?
