Thanks a lot for putting up this wiki, great job - I never manage to use irc easy, but the irc chat here seems smooth, gotta tell me your secret....

 its the first time I use this type of wiki, so I dont have a clue how to create a page, I hope this will show up in the right place, and if it doesnt, can someoneplease move it to the right place. thanks

kind of guessing here.

Here are the priorities as I see them

1) extend the deadline for the site shutdown by asking the current host to be flexible. I dont know who has decided to shut down the server end of the month, but it does not seem fair to give people 20 days to find a new home, unless there is a very valid readon

2) if the above is not possible, then priority should be to backup the existing site, and redirect it well before the end of the month

3) Change the bylaws asap and reelect the board to be as inclusive as possible. From what I see from your bylaws, only the current board memebrs can make an executive factual decision as to how to further the effort from a fromal viewpoint (the organisation).  In orer to help the current members decide the level of interest, we need a list of people available to take on various roles, ie - candidates for future tasks

It is clear from what I see on the list that we have enough energies and resources to move Oscome to a more inclusive level than in the past, and in my view, it does not matter whether the meeting is in Zurich, or on line, or in Zuyrich and online, or anywhere else in the world. We have a lot of means of collaboration these days, I work with people all over the world using skype and webcams, I dont see why we should feel that we are not connecting. 

A clear expression of interest however, from all participants,  is necessary to feed the current board with ideas as to what to do next

4) To start this process, I would recommend a section of this wikiwhere each of us writes a breif summary of their involvement with oscms, their activities that can be of interest to other oscom memebrs, and a wishlist maybe

I am going to try to open such a section now, where I will express in more detail my vision and wishlist for Oscom, hoping to find others on the same wavelenght.
