Or am I getting this wrong? Yes and no. This is just one of many "open source" licenses available. According to this one, a developer can sell their software under this license. In other words, it is perfectly acceptable for an organization to charge for their open source software (such as a CMS), but they must understand the redistribution terms. No where in the term "open source" does it imply "free". It all depends on which licenses the software is available under. In fact, some open source software is distributed under more than one license. It's a matter of which one supersedes the other. Michelle
