[OSCOM] OSCOM Board Meeting on 24 October

Hi, All,

I wanted to let the entire list know that the Board is trying to 
organize a conference call for 24 October. I am still waiting on 2 
confirmations, but hope that this will come off as planned.

I have suggested the following agenda items to the Board

-- Discuss the mission of OSCOM, and how to create a clear statement of 
our goals
-- Discuss how we might participate in the upcoming Gilbane conference 
(based on interest shown on this list and perhaps a proposal from the 
members)
-- Revising the bylaws, including need, objectives. and process

The question to the general members is for any other topics? Just Keep 
in mind that we will have no more than 2 hours for discussion.

Also, are there any individuals who would like to present at the Board 
meeting? I have no idea if this is defined or appropriate based on the 
bylaws, but it just seems like the right idea to me.
