I don't know the problem, and wouldn't know how to solve it, but perhaps
other Kupu developers do. Since I'm (afaik) the only developer reading
this list, I think it would make sense to ask on the Kupu mailinglist
(see http://kupu.oscom.org for more details) too, I guess they can help
you better than I can (I haven't been very actively working on Kupu lately).
