[OSCOM] Interactive content and editor interfaces

It seems to me that WYSIWYG editors such as BXE and Kupu are gaining
acceptance re "static" content, but HTML forms are hitting back re
"interactive" content.

By "interactive" content I mean for instance inserting a date provided
by a calendar or tagging words based on a thesaurus or categorizing the
document within the content itself or adding images or links from a
central repository.

Editors such as BXE and Xopus provide a lookup functionality which helps
to cover such issues to a cerain level, but it seems to me that common
interfaces are actually missing and we should go one step further.

WDYT?

Thanks

Michi
