Hello! With Yahoo, Google, and Microsoft all moving into Hollywood, it could be fun to have an OSCOM in the entertainment capital at some point. I know some people out there--perhaps UCLA would lend a hand, or even the satellite offices of Yahoo/Google/Microsoft. A lot of entertainment companies would love to utilize projects & philosophies featured at OSCOM--robust, dependable, cost-effective, secure CMS for managing the content they invest so much into. I imagine Open Source CMS will continue making inroads into managing content for the entertainment industry--that's the theme of 22surf.org/22surfboard.com/authena.org. Already Open Source projects such as Linux and Apache are playing key roles. OSCOM could probably get some cool sponsors--I've been spending some time out there and I know some potential candidates--they've got great Linux & PHP user groups out there too--let me know what you think! At any rate, I'll look forward to OSCOM wherever it is.
