[OSCOM] changing the favicon

i tried to change the oscom favicon that currently points to

<link rel="Shortcut Icon" type="image/ico" href="/midgard_favicon.ico" />

by putting it in the DocumentRoot. any idea what needs to be done to 
make this work?

the favicon (by mark infield) is attached.
