I don't *think* Xinha is the same as the Dynarch development of HTMLArea...? And I don't really like the sound of more development happening in-house at Dynarch -- version 3.0 has already languished for a long time, and if the development isn't transparent it's hard to know if it's actually happening at all. I've used HTMLArea before and it's worked well, but this makes me a little reluctant. Do other people have opinions on open source WYSIWYG editors? I found Kupu too conceptually heavy (though I haven't looked at it for a while), and I was put off by the server-side components of FCKEdit (though I haven't looked closely enough to know how important they are), and some of the other things out there the last time I looked seemed immature... but maybe that's changed...? -- Ian Bicking / [email protected] / http://blog.ianbicking.org
