This will be my last post on that topic, promised...

I couldn't agree more with Paul. Please just stop this thread. There's
only one person, which seems to have a serious problem with the current
settings. The rest either prefers it or seems at least fine with it.

It would be easy to change it in mailman, so it has nothing to do with
lazyness.  But the current behaviour is the default in mailman and they
also recommend not to change it.

And just for the record, almost all mailinglists I'm on do it this way
(except the apache ones ;) )
