So this extension could be integrated with some other app running in 
the browser, say, ummm, Kupu? :)

But for IE there would need to be a signed control. That's not fun, 
but it's not an insurmountable barrier.

I'd call these extras, even the multiple image dropping. If the basic 
functionality exists, I'm sure they could be added. The complexity of 
B and C would be on the server/CMS side.

The standalone approach has other advantages. Any Pythonistas out 
there who've taken a look at:

Integrating with all these languages, and the systems that use them, 
would be a real plus.
