It never entered my mind though.

OSCON is more appropriate. It seems this year, quite a few of talking  
heads from business are on the business track list.

In general, it is an indication, VC horde is on their way.

Check out Gluecode wannabee like SpikeSource. Kim Polese is a serial  
roller who was a part of Marimba. I think she did well.  I see some  
names from New York.  Vinod is on the list. Vinod of KPC (what is the  
last word they added?). Anyway...

There is a good article in NY Times about stirrings in Palo Alto. It  
has to do with serial VC enterpreneurs and the class mentality out in  
Silicon Valley.
