Did I hear that Firefox is getting funded to have google prominently displayed? $15M Google is beyond smart and funded by the original silicon money. I doubt that they will make money off this contest but maybe good will and a championship of open-source. Plus one of the good ideas may get picked up by the same silicon money ( I mean the likes of KPC ) as open-source more than anything is filled with a great petri dishes.
