Hi I am forwarding the message (please see below) of Dimitri Tschewtajew (dimitri.scheft-gM/[email protected]) Thanks Michi ------- Hi All, i have a general question about Open Source CMS. At the Time exist many sites like www.opesourcecms.com <http://www.opesourcecms.com/> and www.cmsmatrix.org, which helps someone to compare and choise a needed CMS. All the sites do compare the systems on their having features. But what about dynamic quality such as performance, scalability and stress test? Because a CMS at work will have many documents, images and will become slow by growing. Also is good to know at the start of development what is the boardline for a CMS is. Do someone made some tests on popular CMS like Typo3, Mambo and Drupal? Is it interesting thing in professional circles? I would do this in my diplom thesis, but i want to know that the OSCOM community do thing about it. The measure tool for the test is JMeter from Jakarta Project. May be someone knows others? Procedure: 1. Installing CMS on Server 2. Design a Testplan for JMeter 1. Authentification 2. Adding Listing Request and Co. for index page 3. Asserting elements of the site exist. 3. Run test 4. Analysis of tests 5. Result. I will be happy if someone do correct my idea, may be support me in future questions in field analysis. Thx for Help Dimitri Tschewtajew -- Michael Wechner Wyona - Open Source Content Management - Apache Lenya http://www.wyona.com http://lenya.apache.org [email protected] [email protected]
