Odd Problems with Comments

Matthew, I think you hit the nail on the head here.  Thanks for seeing
what I missed.

Indeed..  I've got my warnings turned off, which is why I didn't see
them on my default install....

This wouldn't be visible if this were uncommented in the config.php
file, right:
	ini_set('error_reporting', 'E_ALL~E_NOTICE');

That is assuming that php scripts had the permission.

I had my php.ini set for so surprised I didn't see the errors:
	error_reporting  =  E_ALL

It doesn't give me an error and I'm not seeing the warnings either way.
